REQUEST SERVICEIf you suddenly lost heat in your home, there is no need to panic. There are some quick and easy steps you can take to try and get the heat back up and running.
Check to make sure the batteries in your programable thermostat are not dead. If they are working, or you have a manual thermostat, check that it is switched to HEAT and it is set higher than the indoor temperature of your home.
Make sure the emergency furnace switches, fuses, and circuit breakers are all switched to the ON position.
Check the oil gauge to see if you still have home heating oil in your tank. If not, contact Casey’s Oil and Propane right away to refill the tank and restart your system.
Press the RESET button on your burner ONCE and check to see if a flame comes on. If not, DO NOT press the button again, call Casey’s Oil and Propane right away.
